Map Updating & Gap Fill

Since its inception, East View Geospatial has been committed to understanding the status of world mapping with an emphasis on cataloging and working closely with National Mapping Agencies across the globe. We are constantly striving to bring the most up to date information to market. One aspect of this mission is updating existing maps and geospatial data sets over developing countries.

Recently, EVG published 16 maps that were gaps in Tanzania’s national topographic map series at 1:50,000 scale thereby completing the coverage for the first time in the country’s history. The Esri StoryMap below details the EVG cartographic production process.
